Epogee has been rigorously tested in more than 60 studies. The data supporting EPG safety is among the strongest data packages ever developed for a new food ingredient.

Epogee Fat Replacement has achieved Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) status for use in confectionery products, baked goods and baking mixes, frozen dairy desserts and mixes, nuts and nut products (including peanut butter), grain products, pasta, granola and snack bars, sauces and gravies, and soft candy. Epogee has been evaluated for safety at levels as high as 150 grams per day, which is almost twice as much as consumed in a typical US diet of 2,500 calories per day.

In addition to rigorous testing to safety and submission of data for FDA GRAS confirmation, Epogee is fully Kosher compliant and is manufactured in top-line facilities in the USA according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food.
